Hello, my name is Gaspar Avila. I was born in the azorean island of Sao Jorge and I'm now living in Ponta Delgada city, in Sao Miguel island. |

The Azores are nine beautiful islands in the middle of the Atlantic where people try to live side by side with nature. The ocean is always a great inspiration for me, and also our peaks and lagoons, reminders of Azores volcanic origins. |
|
I consider the Azores to be one of the greatest places in the world to live and visit nowadays, so my main motivation is to show you the best of these islands, their beauty and the uniqueness of their people and culture. In my galleries you can find photos of the Azores landscapes, festivals, architecture, traditions, wildlife and flora. I also shoot stock photography, which is usually described as concept photos. |
I recently developed an interest on computer generated images (digital art) so I'll also be adding some of these images to this website. However none of these images will show up in searches, only real photos will. Computer generated images will only be visible in their own category ("Digital Art").
